International Cooperation Cambodia (ICC), a diverse Christian development organisation committed to serving the least-served across the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Position: FAST Project Manager
Job Location: Phnom Penh

Responsibilities

1. Leadership
  • Leads and manages the Project Team in project implementation, and endeavour to shape the project scenario to achieve the project's objectives and deliver the project outputs in a timely and appropriate fashion.
  • Acts as a positive role model for the staff.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation
  • The project manager ensures that each component of the project (Self-Help Group, Youth Club and Parent Teacher Association) is well monitored.
  • Provides coordination in planning and discussions regarding strategies, progress and processes of the project objectives and its activities.
  • Responsible for preparing annual work plans and budgets.
3. Human Resource Development
  • The project manager is responsible to build the capacity of local staffs to be productive in their area of responsibility.
4. Administration and Finances
  • Manages project finances according to ICC’s standard practice. This includes providing ICC Finance Manager, based in Phnom Penh, with accurate, timely financial information and documentation for the operation of the project.
  • Administers and monitors the project budget to ensure that all activities occur within budgetary restrictions.
5. Reporting
  • Prepares reports to government, donors, ICC Member Agencies, and ICC management.
6. Representation
  • Attends quarterly ICC-Project Managers meetings and other ICC meetings as requested.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with relevant district or provincial government authorities in order to help generate a positive profile for ICC.
  • Generates and maintains good relationships with actual and potential donor(s) through reporting and communications.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience of development work in  education, family and economy sectors with participatory processes
  • Bachelor/master degree in development work or the similar field.
  • A mature Christian with strong vision and deep compassion to work with the poor in the remote area.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team building, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-starter with strong initiative abilities.
