IT Executive Newspaper is the only newspaper in Cambodia to cover issues on information and computer technology, offering hot and breaking news and features about IT issues, insights of modern technology, reviews of electronic gadgets, and tech talks and analyses. As our newspaper is expanding rapidly, we are now seeking 2 more writers to produce local news and feature stories to meet the increasing demand of our readers.

IT Executive Newspaper is seeking a Cambodian national to fill the position of Writer based in Phnom Penh.

Job Descriptions

To write local hot news and feature stories in English about information and communication technology
To translate news from English to Khmer
To conduct interviews and consult with relevant sources for the news and feature stories
To do desk research (through Internet, etc.) when needed for the writing of the stories
To generate news story ideas and suggest to editor-in-chief before commencing writing
To do other tasks as assigned by editor-in-chief

Requirements

Male or female
Senior (3rd year upwards) with fields of journalism, English, computer science, or relevant studies from a university
Good grasp of English, especially writing
Computer literacy & good typing, both English and Khmer (Unicode)
No previous experiences are required but desired
Hardworking and Flexible
