Role and Responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advice to the company, including acquisition of sites, leasing of land and buildings, property management, property permits and licenses, business permits
• Handle contract drafting and negotiations, interpretation of legislation and solving legal disputes
• Implement policy, procedures and compliance frameworks
• Develop strategies to enhance risk management
• Coordinate with property teams, including providing strategic advice, engaging relevant internal and external stakeholders, supporting the teams with case management and representing the teams within the business   
• Liaise with other property lawyers across the Group

Job Qualifications

• Cambodian nationality.
• Male or Female.
• Age 28 years old up.
• Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Law.
• At least 5 years of experience with strong knowledge of property law.
• Experience gained from leading law firms or as in-house lawyers from property related business preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues to involved parties in a simple way.
• Good command of English both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under deadline and time pressure.
• Base in Phnom Penh but able travel to Up-Country in sometime.
