VisionFund (Cambodia) is seeking 1 qualified Cambodian national to fill the position of Internal Audit & Evaluation Trainee based in Head Office, Phnom Penh.
She/he is to conduct and assist an audit of branches and head office in accordance with VisionFund policies and procedures and to review and evaluate on internal control and accounting systems of branches and head office, and to recommend corrections, improvements and compliance. This position is also assigned to conduct the impact evaluation on VisionFund’s clients and to recommend for improvement.

VisionFund (Cambodia) is seeking 1 qualified Cambodian national to fill the position of Internal Audit & Evaluation Trainee based in Head Office, Phnom Penh.
She/he is to conduct and assist an audit of branches and head office in accordance with VisionFund policies and procedures and to review and evaluate on internal control and accounting systems of branches and head office, and to recommend corrections, improvements and compliance. This position is also assigned to conduct the impact evaluation on VisionFund’s clients and to recommend for improvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist to perform and coordinates the planning thoroughly before going to the audit and evaluation fieldworks;
- Assist to organize and initiates the pre-audit and evaluation meeting;
- Assist to perform audit steps and procedures and gathers necessary information to determine adequacy of internal controls and compliance according to the pre-audit and /or evaluation field work section;
- Assist to perform the analytical review procedures for each audit assignment;
- Assist to mobilize the necessary information of business transactions and determines the audit and evaluation sample size for testing;
- Assist to organize the working papers files according to the policies and procedures of audit and evaluation;
- Assist to perform and coordinate the audit and evaluation field work of branches and head office;
- Assist to clarify all audit findings with auditees during the process of audit field work to minimize discussion time in the exit conference;
- Assist to alert and push the branches in implementing the audit and/or evaluation issues;
- Assist to bring to the Internal Audit &Evaluation Manager’s attention any suspected areas and/or serious misconduct and conflict of interest issues of all level of staff within VisionFund and any misuse if VisionFuns’s assets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Refresh graduate in the field of Accounting and Finance, auditing, or other related fields;
- Strong analytical and accounting skills and good study record at university is an assets;
- Good knowledge and understanding of microfinance operations or banking;
- Good English and computer skills;
- Willing to travel and stay at province for performing audit and evaluation;
- Ability to work under pressure highly self-motivated;
- Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness.
